Terms and Conditions

Welcome to SET'L, an online platform for digital dispute resolution and settlement services. These Terms and Conditions of Use ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the "User") and Lextech Ecosystem Limited, operating as SET'L ("SET'L", "we", "our" or "us"). By accessing or using the SET'L platform, you agree to comply with these Terms.

1. DEFINITION

Platform:

The SET'L web and mobile applications.

User:

Any individual, company, or institution registered on SET'L, including complainants, respondents, ODR practitioners, and ADR institutions.

Service:

All features, tools, and functionalities provided by SET'L, including case submission, mediation, arbitration, document sharing, and AI-assisted recommendations.

ODR Practitioner:

A certified mediator, arbitrator, or facilitator using the platform.

Terms of Settlement / Award:

The final legally binding resolution achieved through the platform.

2. USER ELIGIBILITY AND ACCOUNTS

  • Users must be at least 18 years old or have the legal capacity under applicable law to use the platform.
  • Institutions and companies must ensure authorized representatives handle their accounts.
  • Users agree to provide accurate, complete registration information and keep it updated.
  • Account security, including safeguarding passwords and OTPs, is the sole responsibility of the User.

3. PLATFORM SERVICES

  • SET'L provides digital tools for dispute resolution, case management, AI-assisted mediation, human mediator escalation, secure document exchange, and agreement generation.
  • SET'L acts solely as a platform provider and does not guarantee the outcome of any dispute.
  • Service availability may vary, and we reserve the right to update, modify, or discontinue features without prior notice.

4. USER OBLIGATIONS

  • Use the platform only for lawful, permitted purposes.
  • Do not submit false, misleading, defamatory, or infringing content.
  • Respect the confidentiality and privacy of all parties.
  • Comply with all applicable laws, including the Nigerian Arbitration and Mediation Act, NDPA (Nigeria Data Act) General Application and Implementation Directive (GAID), and other relevant laws.

5. FEES AND PAYMENTS

  • Certain services on SET'L may require payment. Fees will be disclosed transparently before service use.
  • Payments must be made using authorized methods; failure to pay may result in service suspension.
  • Refunds, if any, will be handled according to our Refund Policy.

6. CONFIDENTIALITY AND PRIVACY

  • SET'L is committed to protecting User data under NDPA and, where applicable, GDPR.
  • Case data, documents, and communications are confidential and will only be shared with authorized parties involved in the dispute or as required by law.

7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

  • All content, software, and branding on SET'L are owned by Lextech Ecosystem Limited or licensed to us.
  • Users are granted a limited, non-transferable license to use the platform solely for intended purposes.
  • Users retain ownership of content they upload but grant SET'L a license to use it for providing the Services.
